The following list of open courseware video collections contains information that is more diverse than the University of Michigan lectures found at YouTube. You can find videos about medicine, other videos about politics. Other collections contain documentaries, produced by professionals and by students. And, while not all collections are labeled as “open courseware,” they all are free to watch and enjoy.

Each collection listed below is categorized, and the collections are listed alphabetically within those categories.

1. Caltech’s Streaming Theater: This site houses streaming video of many of the programs that were available to the Caltech community from 1999 to the present.
2. Columbia Interactive: This is the gateway to selected electronic learning resources developed at Columbia University.
3. Duke University On Demand: Watch lectures and programs on a wide range of topics, archived by Duke University.
4. Harvard University John F. Kennedy School of Government Video Archives: Use the drop-down menu at top left to view archives from 2000-2008.
5. MIT World: MIT World is a free and open site that provides on demand video of significant public events at MIT through more than 700 videos.
6. OII webcasts: The Oxford Internet Institute provides Webcasts fo Internet pioneers, scholars and regulators who have spoken at this institute.
7. Princeton University WebMedia: This link leads to video lectures. Look to the left menu to choose more options in live events, special events and more.
8. Princeton Uniersity UChannel: The UChannel (also known as the University Channel) makes videos of academic lectures and events from all over the world available to the public.
9. Research Channel: If you cannot get this channel on your television, never fear…you can watch Webcasts and videos online that focus on topics ranging from arts and humanities to social sciences, sponsored by the University of Washington.

20. ABC: The Australian Broadcasting Corporation provides a vast array of resources for learning. Scroll down this linked page to discover the various online videos provided by this company, in topics that range from education to indigenous and from parenting to religion.
21. American Field Guide: Immerse yourself in the great outdoors without ever leaving your desk through over 1,400 videos archived on this site.
22. BBC Learning: This is a beta site that allows users to watch videos of various collections in an equal variety of topics, including full-length features and “bite-size” snippets that help anyone learn a new language, math, science and much more.
